Job Title: Production Supervisior (Injection Moulding)

Reports To: Assistant Manager- Production

Job Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

1.Molding Process Management

•Supervise injection molding processes for efficient production.

•Ensure proper machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency.

•Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for molding operations.

2.Manpower Handling & Team Management

•Supervise and guide machine operators, technicians, and production staff.

•Plan and allocate manpower based on production schedules.

•Train employees on machine operations, safety procedures, and process improvements.

•Monitor shift operations and ensure workforce discipline and productivity.

•Address grievances and resolve team conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.

3.Quality Control & Troubleshooting

•Monitor product quality and identify defects like flash, warping, or sink marks.

•Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

•Coordinate with the quality team to ensure products meet required standards.

4.Production Optimization & Efficiency

•Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and material waste.

•Minimize machine downtime through preventive maintenance and quick troubleshooting.





•Improve mold changeover time and increase machine utilization.

5.Safety & Compliance

•Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

•Conduct safety training sessions for operators and technicians.

•Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.

6.Reporting & Coordination

•Work closely with cross-functional teams, including planning, quality, and maintenance.

•Prepare daily and monthly reports on production efficiency, manpower utilization, and downtime.

•Suggest improvements based on data analysis and performance tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements:

•Experience: 3-5 years in plastic moulding production with workforce management experience.

•Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of injection molding processes.
- Familiarity with various plastic materials (PA-66, PP etc.).
- Experience in Hot Runner Tools handling & troubleshooting
- Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles.

•Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, team management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience in automotive goods plastic molding.

•Hands-on experience in process validation and troubleshooting

•Knowledge of SAP systems for production planning and workforce tracking.
