Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalpaiguri, responsible for overseeing daily beverage production operations in alignment with company quality and safety standards. This role includes planning and scheduling production, managing shift activities, and ensuring productive use of resources, materials, and equipment.

The Production

Manager will monitor output, implement process improvements, and collaborate with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to meet volume, cost, and quality targets.

Responsibilities also include leading and developing production staff,



enforcing health, safety, and regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate production records and reports. The role requires proactive problem-solving to address operational issues and continuous optimization of production processes to support business goals.

Qualifications

- Strong production and operations management skills, including planning, scheduling, and process optimization.
- Experience with quality assurance and control in food or beverage manufacturing, including HACCP or similar standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, preventive maintenance coordination, and basic troubleshooting.
- People management capabilities, including team leadership, performance management, and shift supervision.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, workplace health and safety practices, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in using production reporting tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis for decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Production Management, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in beverage, FMCG, or similar high-volume manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site in Jalpaiguri.
