JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Planning & Execution:

Plan, organize, and manage daily pack line activities to meet shift and departmental targets.

Monitor shift-wise production output and maximize manpower utilization.

Maintain complete production and rework data; prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports on time.

Process Optimization & Automation Handling:

Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to identify, propose, and implement shop-floor automation ideas.

Optimize testing machine performance, eliminate bottlenecks, and minimize operational downtime.

Troubleshooting & Quality Control:

Identify and resolve testing-related technical and operational issues.

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on defect spikes or operational failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team for inspections, audits, and yield improvement initiatives.

Technical Knowledge & Safety Leadership:

Maintain deep technical knowledge of critical parameters in Lithium-ion battery pack testing.

Train testing associates on testing procedures, safety protocols, and battery handling.

Enforce safety guidelines, perform risk assessments, and conduct routine safety audits to prevent hazards.

Manpower Handling & Team Management:

Direct shop-floor manpower allocation with minimum 60 manpower handling skills, enforce floor discipline.

Evaluate associate skill levels, identify training needs, and foster continuous professional development.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQURIED:

Technical Expertise:



In-depth knowledge of Lithium-ion battery cell/pack parameters (voltage, IR, SOC, SOH, BMS testing) and testing equipment.

Continuous Improvement: Practical exposure to Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma methodologies, and basic shop-floor automation.

Leadership & Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage shift personnel (minimum 60 manpower handling skills), drive accountability, and maintain protected, disciplined production operations.

EDUCATION Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B. Tech)/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience :5 - 15 Years of relevant experience in battery manufacturing / assembly.

Qualification : Diploma in Engineering / BE. Tech
