Key Responsibilities

- Define and own the VFD product vision, strategy, roadmap and lifecycle management for the Indian market.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, customer needs and emerging applications.
- Develop product positioning, value propositions and go-to-market strategies for existing and recent VFD offerings.
- Work closely with sales, application, marketing and service teams for successful product launches, funnel growth and account penetration.
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback and market trends to drive continuous improvement and portfolio optimisation.
- Manage pricing, cost optimisation and profitability of the VFD product line; support annual and long-term business planning.
- Drive product documentation, training content, application notes and best-practice guides for internal and external stakeholders.
- Enable the sales team with technical content, presentations, demos and key customer engagements, including solution proposals and techno-commercial discussions.
- Collaborate with global principals/partners and internal engineering teams to align on product plans, localisation needs and field feedback.
- Forecast revenue, prepare business plans and track KPIs such as revenue growth, market share, profitability and pipeline health.

Required Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in product management, product marketing or application management in VFD / AC drives.




- Strong knowledge of AC drive technologies, control methods, applications and relevant industry standards.
- Experience with leading VFD brands (for example Shihlin or similar) is desirable.
- Good understanding of customer types and industrial segments such as OEMs, HVAC, water & wastewater, oil & gas, cement, metals and material handling.
- Hands-on experience in product lifecycle management from introduction to phase-out.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM and ERP tools is an added advantage.
