SCOPE OF THE ROLE

SAP Functional Consultant / SAP Solution Architect - SAP Production Planning and Quality Management

Responsible for implementing / maintaining ERP system - SAP Applications

Note: The person would be working on SAP systems by understanding the business requirements, finalizing business processes and providing inputs to technical team for configuring and enhancing systems

Interacting with Business Functions to understand business requirements to enable configuration and enhancement of functionalities

Mapping “As Is” and Designing “To Be” Business Processes

Prepare Functional Specification and interact with Technical Team to enable them to prepare Technical Specification

Prepare Test Plans and Test document what has been configured or developed

Documentation of new / change in Business Process with relevant Test Scripts.

Explore IT Tools and leverage their functionalities for improving business processes

Keep abreast with latest IT mechanisms and tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.

Execute IT projects and Maintain Existing Applications and provide support to existing IT initiatives and projects within defined Timelines, Cost and Quality parameters.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time

Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective

Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness

Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others

Work Experience

- Any Graduate with relevant experience in SAP PP & QM
- At least 7 to 10 years of Work Experience





(Certified SAP PP Consultant - Production Planning / QM / MM & SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 / SAP HANA will be an added advantage)
- Functional Knowledge in SAP PP
- Demand Management: Creation & Configuration of Planned Independent Requirements. Sound knowledge of different Planning Strategies & their applications
- Material Requirements Planning: Customization of MRP as per requirement
- Master Production schedule
- Consumption based Planning
- BOM , Work center, Routing
- Production Version Management
- Production / Capacity Planning
- Production Control: Production Orders, Goods Movements, Order Confirmation, Settlement process
- PP Configuration
- PP / MM / QM / Costing Integrations
- Functional Knowledge in SAP QM
- Quality Planning: Inspection plans, master inspection characteristics (MICs), sampling procedures, dynamic modification rules (DMR), and inspection methods.
- Quality Inspection: Goods receipt inspection (from procurement and production), in-process inspection, recurring inspection, source inspection, and customer return inspections.
- Quality Notifications: Defect recording, notification workflows, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Quality Certificates: Incoming and outgoing certificates of analysis (CoA) and inspection certificates.
- Quality Control & Reports: Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Level, and Quality Score.
- Experience in the SAP Dev & Support of any Manufacturing company where Planning / Procurement / Manufacturing / Supply Chain Functions involved.
- Age – Less than 40 years
- Sound understanding of Business Process in their own domain
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly
- Positive Documentation skills & Analytical skills
- Good communication skills
