CR Fence u0026 Rail

India

CR Fence & Rail, BioShieldUV and Ozonenator are US e-commerce brands selling railing and fencing systems, UV disinfection and ozone products on Amazon, Home Depot and our own web stores. Our products are made with partner factories overseas. We're a small team that runs on AI and our own software: every task, decision and conversation lives in one system, and we hire for results, not hours.

What You'll Own

You take recent physical products from idea to factory to live listing. You decide which products to start, fix or kill, run suppliers and factories so nothing waits on us, and take every product from idea to live and selling. You work hands-on in an AI terminal and turn repeat work into systems, not manual effort.

1. Product Ownership & Decisions (~25%)

You are not an assistant. You own the product and the decisions behind it

- Evaluate, start and kill products, backed by numbers: cost, margin, demand, returns, reviews
- Own product problems to the fix. Example: GR product issues with the factory. Find the root cause, decide the remedy and close it
- Own packaging design decisions with the factory and our design partners
- Bring leadership a recommendation and the reasoning, not a question.

1. Supplier & Factory Coordination (~40%)

You are not an assistant. You own the product and the decisions behind it

- Own day-to-day communication with suppliers: email, chat, video calls
- Chase quotes, samples, production updates and shipping timelines until they're done.
- Run sample rounds: request, receive, log feedback, push revisions

- Keep leadership off factory threads except for decisions

2. Sourcing New Factories (~10%)

- Research and shortlist factories for new products.
- Send RFQs and build clean comparisons: price, MOQ, lead time, capability, export history
- Vet on first contact: sample quality, response speed, export experience
- Present a recommendation with your reasoning, not a list of links

3. New Products to Launch & Product Data (~15%)

- Own the spec for each product: dimensions, materials, finishes, packaging, kitting
- Track each product from idea → quote → sample → revision → PO → production → delivery → live
- Write and maintain product instructions, manuals and assembly guides
- Hand launch-ready packages to the marketplace and content teams and chase what's missing
- A product isn't done when it ships from the factory. It's done when it's live and selling.

4. AI & Systems (~10%)

- Work daily in an AI (e.g. Claude Code) to read data, update records and automate repeat work. We have no front-end for editing. AI is the tool.
- Turn every repeated task into an SOP or automation. If something breaks twice, fix the system, not just the case.
- Basic coding or scripting comfort is expected

How we work (what good looks like here)

- You own outcomes, not tasks. Understand the goal and the definition of done and drive to it without being told the next step
- Speed: work moves in hours, not weeks. Ship at 80–90% and improve
- Report with numbers anyone can re-check, never "all good"
- Ask questions early, then act
- Up to speed within 1–3 days of onboarding

What You Bring

- ·4+ years in product, sourcing or product development, including at least one physical product you took from idea to on-sale as the owner
- Hands-on daily use of AI tools, with real examples (terminal or coding-based use strongly preferred)
- Proven supplier or factory management, ideally with factories in China or Asia
- Clear written English and comfort working across time zones.

Nice to have

- Hardware, home improvement, fencing, railing or UV/ozone product experience
- Amazon or e-commerce product launch experience
- Packaging design or compliance experience

This Is Not the Right Role If

- You need to be told what to do next, or need reminders to follow up
- You forward emails instead of owning the outcome
- You want a software product role. This one is factories, samples and shipments.

How to Apply

Apply with your resume and a link to a short video answering:

1. Describe a physical product you helped take from idea to launch, and your role with the factory.
2. Tell us about a supplier problem you solved.
3. How do you use AI tools in your daily work?
