About the role

You’ll work directly with a co-founder to understand how people over 50 think about dating, trust, companionship and technology. Your conversations will shape how we onboard users, match them, keep them safe and help them build real connections.

What you’ll do

- Recruit and conduct user interviews with 50+ singles, including divorcees, widows and widowers, and people who never married or are re-entering the dating world.

- Speak with sensitivity about personal topics such as loss, loneliness, family expectations, past relationships and fear of judgment.

- Take structured notes, tag insights and synthesize patterns across segments (age, gender, city, tech comfort, life stage, intent: companionship vs. marriage).

- Study how 50+ users actually experience dating apps, including where they get confused, uncomfortable or drop off in sign-up, profile creation, photos, chat and first meetings.

- Dig into trust and safety concerns: scams, fake profiles, catfishing, privacy, and the role of adult children and families.

- Turn what you learn into explicit problem statements, hypotheses and product opportunities.





- Help the co-founder decide what to build, test or cut, and write short product briefs and proposals.

- Research competitors and adjacent products (dating, matrimony, senior communities) and share a weekly summary of learnings with the team.

- Clear, structured thinking and writing.

- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action.

- Good communication skills, ideally in English.

- High standards of confidentiality. You’ll handle personal stories with care.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in any field (psychology, sociology, design, business, engineering and others are welcome).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
