Manager – Procurement

Level: Middle Management

Location: Kolkata (Head Office)

Reporting To: Head – AGM

Experience: 7–10 years in procurement, with team-handling experience

Education: Any Graduate, MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain preferred

Salary: 8-10 Lakh/A

Role Overview To lead the procurement function and team, ensuring the right quality, quantity and price, timely availability of materials/products, and full compliance with company purchase policy.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and guide the procurement team across the end-to-end purchase cycle.
- Plan purchases with sales and supply chain teams based on demand and stock levels.
- Develop and evaluate vendors; finalize rate contracts and agreements.
- Negotiate price,



payment terms and delivery timelines for high-value purchases.
- Review quotation comparisons and approve Purchase Orders (POs).
- Drive cost savings and resolve escalated supply, quality and delivery issues.
- Prepare procurement MIS for management and ensure SOPs and ERP are followed.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Team leadership and stakeholder coordination.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.
- Medical Device / Healthcare industry experience will be preferred.
