Role & responsibilities

1. Develop and optimize sheet metal manufacturing processes for new and existing products.

2. Handle Turret Punching, Laser Cutting, Press Brake, Bending, Clinching and Spot Welding processes.

3. Improve production productivity, quality, process efficiency and cost reduction.

4. Support New Product Development (NPD), feasibility studies and DFM/DFA activities.

5. Prepare Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs and Work Instructions.

6. Develop and validate tooling, fixtures and jigs for sheet metal operations.

7. Coordinate pilot production, process trials and product validation activities.

8. Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and maintain manufacturing quality documentation.

9. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.

10. Troubleshoot production issues and reduce rejection, scrap, rework and cycle time.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering,



Manufacturing Engineer or Production Engineer.

- 48 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing and process development.

- Candidates with hands-on experience in CNC Laser Cutting, Turret Punching and Press Brake operations preferred.

- Experience in NPD, tooling development, fixture design and process validation.

- Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, ISO 9001 and quality documentation.

- Experience in automotive, sheet metal fabrication or precision engineering industries preferred.

- Candidates with robust problem-solving, process optimization and cross-functional coordination skills preferred.
