Key Responsibilities

- Review incoming prior authorization requests and verify that required information is complete.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and advantages.
- Prepare and submit prior authorization requests to insurance payers.
- Follow up with insurance companies to obtain authorization decisions and status updates.
- Track pending, approved, denied, and escalated authorization requests.
- Identify missing documentation and coordinate with the appropriate healthcare team to obtain it.
- Escalate denials, exceptions, and complex cases to the appropriate team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update patient records and authorization tracking systems.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing.
- Follow established workflows, customer requirements, and HIPAA-related privacy and security procedures.

Qualifications

- 2 YOE for US healthcare insurance prior authorizations.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with sensitive patient information and following strict confidentiality requirements.




- Ability to work independently and meet productivity and quality targets.
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes.

- Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment identity verification and background screening, including criminal background and applicable healthcare exclusion-list checks.
- Employees must complete HIPAA and information-security training before receiving access to customer systems.
- Employees must follow strict data privacy, confidentiality, and information-security policies.
- Use of personal devices, unauthorized applications, or unapproved AI tools for customer information is prohibited.
