Job Summary

- We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Presales Consultant – Passive Networking with 5+ years of experience in structured cabling and passive networking solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing technical solutions, preparing BOQs/BOMs, developing technical proposals, and supporting the sales team in delivering customized passive networking solutions to customers.
- The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of copper and fiber cabling infrastructure, data center passive components, industry standards, and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop passive networking solutions based on customer requirements.
- Prepare detailed BOQs/BOMs, technical specifications, and solution designs.
- Analyze RFPs/RFIs and prepare technical responses and proposals.
- Develop structured cabling solutions covering copper, fiber, racks, patch panels, and cable management systems.
- Prepare rack layouts, connectivity diagrams, and infrastructure drawings.
- Perform solution sizing, pricing, estimation, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with OEMs Such as Molex, Commscope ,



HFCL and distributors for product selection, technical inputs, and pricing.
- Support the sales team during customer meetings, technical discussions, and presentations.
- Ensure proposed solutions comply with relevant industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support throughout the presales and bid submission process.
- Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in passive networking presales or structured cabling solutions.
- Strong experience in structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber.
- Good understanding of data center passive components, rack layouts, patch panels, and cable management.
- Proficiency in BOQ/BOM preparation, solution sizing, and technical solution design.
- Solid understanding of RFP/RFI responses and technical proposal creation.
- Knowledge of passive networking standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, and ISO/IEC.
- Experience in pricing models, cost estimation, and cost optimization.
- Ability to coordinate and engage effectively with OEMs and distributors.
- Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio for layout and network diagram creation.
- Exposure to data center infrastructure and enterprise networking projects.
- Relevant certifications in structured cabling or passive networking will be an added advantage.
