Job Purpose

Plant Manager is accountable for end-to-end plant operations of LPG packed Cylinder -Bottling Plant, safety, statutory compliance, asset integrity, maintenance, production, Budget, cost control and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complete LPG plant operations, including bulk unloading, storage, cylinder receipt, filling, inspection, testing, dispatch, and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure statutory compliance with PESO/CCOE, OISD, SMPV Rules, Gas Cylinder Rules, Factories Act, labour laws, electrical and pollution control requirements.
- Manage overall asset custody, integrity, utilization, reliability, and lifecycle maintenance of plant machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Drive preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, technical integrity, AMC management, calibration, and critical spare inventory.
- Ensure cylinder quality, inspection, testing, rejection control, and turnaround time (TAT) through effective cylinder tracking and circulation management.
- Lead manpower planning, recruitment, workforce productivity, team development, and cross-functional coordination.
- Drive plant projects, installation, commissioning, automation, lean management, productivity, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Manage LPG procurement, inventory, transportation, vendor coordination, and uninterrupted supply operations.
- Lead HSE, fire and safety management, emergency preparedness, training, mock drills, safety committee meetings, and corrective actions.
- Ensure implementation of company policies, SOPs,



HSSEQ standards, audits, inspections, statutory documentation, and compliance closure.
- Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) of LPG supplies through effective production planning, inventory management, and dispatch coordination, while maintaining high customer and vendor satisfaction through service excellence and timely issue resolution
- Lead strategic budget planning, cost optimization, and operational expenditure management; drive cutting-edge technologies, automation, and continuous improvement to enhance plant efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Prepare, review, and submit weekly/monthly MIS, operational performance, maintenance costs, productivity, and management reports to the Directors for review and decision-making.

Required skills and Qualifications: Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical or EEE, or above

Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ years in the relevant role and industry

Leadership Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a leadership / supervisory role

Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of LPG bottling operations, machinery, equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Statutory Exposure: PESO/CCOE, OISD, SMPV Rules, Gas Cylinder Rules, Factories Act, labour compliance, and statutory audits

Job Location: Coimbatore and Namakkal

Language Skills: Tamil, English, and Hindi – proficiency in communication

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
