Plant Operator – GK Foods Consultant

Salary: 35,000 – 45,000 per month (depending on experience and interview)

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Plant Operator for a food manufacturing facility in Agartala, Tripura. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production operations, operating food processing machinery, and ensuring the quality and consistency of manufactured products, particularly sauces and jams.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, monitor and manage food processing and packaging machinery.
- Handle manufacturing processes for sauces, jams, ketchup and other food products.
- Ensure production activities are completed according to daily production plans.
- Monitor raw material usage, batch preparation and finished product quality.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, colour and product specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), GMP and HACCP guidelines.
- Perform routine machinery inspections and basic troubleshooting.
- Coordinate cleaning, sanitation and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain daily production records, batch reports and inventory consumption records.




- Ensure workplace safety, hygiene and effective plant operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience in food manufacturing and processing.
- Practical knowledge of sauce, jam, ketchup or condiment manufacturing.
- Experience operating industrial food processing machinery.
- Understanding of production processes, batch formulation and packaging operations.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality control and hygiene standards.
- Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving and production management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily manufacturing operations.

Experience Preference

Candidates with 2–5 years of relevant experience in sauce manufacturing, jam and fruit processing, food processing or FMCG manufacturing will be preferred.

Compensation

35,000 – 45,000 per month, depending on experience, technical expertise and interview performance.
