Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pipe Stress Analyst with hands-on expertise in CAESAR II to perform piping stress analysis, flexibility analysis and pipe support design for industrial, oil & gas, refinery and power plant projects.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of international piping codes and standards, particularly ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3, along with experience in evaluating critical piping systems and recommending suitable engineering modifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform piping stress and flexibility analysis using CAESAR II.
- Conduct static and dynamic stress analysis for critical piping systems.
- Evaluate sustained, operating, thermal expansion and occasional load cases.
- Perform piping flexibility analysis considering pressure, temperature, weight, wind and seismic loads.
- Design and evaluate pipe supports, including rigid supports, guides, anchors and spring hangers.
- Evaluate equipment nozzle loads for pumps, compressors, turbines, vessels and heat exchangers.
- Analyze PSV reaction forces, thermal expansion, vibration and other critical piping conditions.
- Review piping layouts, isometric drawings and 3D models to identify stress-related issues.
- Recommend piping layout modifications, expansion loops and support arrangements to maintain system integrity.




- Prepare and review piping stress analysis reports, calculations and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3 and applicable project specifications.
- Coordinate with piping design, mechanical, civil and structural engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience in CAESAR II.
- Piping Stress Analysis and Flexibility Analysis.
- Static and Dynamic Stress Analysis.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and/or ASME B31.3.
- Sustained, Operating, Thermal Expansion and Occasional Load Analysis.
- Pipe Support Design and Spring Hanger Selection.
- Equipment Nozzle Load Evaluation.
- Stress Report Preparation and Engineering Calculations.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical or Thermal Power Plant projects.
- Exposure to high-temperature and critical piping systems.
- Experience with supercritical boiler piping systems.
- Knowledge of WRC 107/297, PSV reaction forces and flange leakage evaluation.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks and 3D piping model reviews.

Pay: ₹294,000.00 - ₹1,230,000.00 per year
