We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist for our Purchase Department to manage the procurement of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies and ensure their timely availability.

- Procure medicines, surgical items, and pharmaceutical supplies as per hospital requirements.

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding quotations, pricing, and delivery schedules.

- Compare prices and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate purchase records.

- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the pharmacy and stores departments.

- Verify the quality, expiry dates, and availability of purchased items.

- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications

- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.

- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.

- Experience in hospital pharmacy or pharmaceutical purchasing will be an added advantage.

- Valuable communication, coordination, and computer skills.
