People & Culture Manager (HR), Marmeto

₹8L – ₹12L · Bengaluru

This is not a "process the leave requests" job.

Marmeto runs on two things: performance and clan. We set a high bar, we own outcomes rather than hours, and we have each other's backs like family. We're growing fast, and we need someone who can turn that culture into a system that scales. You'll make sure it doesn't depend on a few people remembering how things work.

You'll work directly with the leadership team. You'll be the person who makes the org sharper and closer at the same time.

What you'll own

?️ The People engine. Design hiring, onboarding, performance and lifecycle processes that run without chasing. Bring in structure without bureaucracy.

? Performance culture. Build outcome-driven reviews. Help managers set clear expectations, measure impact rather than effort, and run real feedback loops.

? Clan culture. Keep our in-office and remote teams feeling like one tribe, through rituals, meetups, recognition and the small things that make people stay.

? Talent & employer brand. Own hiring for key roles. Raise the bar on quality and speed, and make every candidate leave thinking "I want to work there."

? The go-to person. Earn trust across teams, spot disengagement early and fix it before it becomes an exit.

? Leadership partner. Bring recommendations on org design,



hiring plans and team health, not just execution.

In 6–12 months, you've won if

- Teams run on clear ownership, with minimal follow-ups
- Reviews are objective, consistent and tied to outcomes
- Hiring quality is visibly better
- The culture moves faster without losing its warmth
- The leadership team spends far less time on day-to-day people decisions

You'll fit right in if you

- Have 5–8 years in HR, ideally in fast-growing startups
- Have built systems, not just run HR ops
- Can hold people to a high bar and still be the one they trust
- Don't wait to be told, and take people problems personally
- Are comfortable working with senior leadership, and with difficult conversations
