Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PCB Layout Engineer – Cadence Allegro role based in Hyderabad. The role involves creating and optimizing PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro for analog and mixed-signal circuits, in close collaboration with hardware and circuit design teams.

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, defining stack-up, placing components, routing high-speed and analog signals, and ensuring design for manufacturability and testability.



The engineer will perform design rule checks, physical verification, and documentation of layout outputs, including fabrication and assembly drawings. The role also includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, supporting design reviews, implementing feedback, and maintaining adherence to industry standards and internal quality processes.

Qualifications

- Strong PCB Layout Design skills, including component placement, routing, and stack-up design for multi-layer boards.
- Proficiency in Circuit Design and understanding of Analog and Analog Circuits for effective translation of schematics into PCB layouts.
- Experience with Physical Verification, including DRC, ERC, signal integrity checks, and design for manufacturability guidelines.
- Hands-on expertise with Cadence Allegro or equivalent PCB design tools, including library creation and footprint management.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations, high-speed design principles, and IPC standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with design, manufacturing, and testing teams.
- Prior experience in automotive, aerospace, medical, or other regulated domains is an advantage.
