About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and technically solid Pavement / Geotechnical Engineer to join our Pavement Design team. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, assessment, evaluation, and rehabilitation of pavements for a wide range of infrastructure projects, including roads, airports, ports, and industrial developments.

Qualifications:

- M.Tech in Pavement Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering, or
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, or
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience Required:

- 5 to 10 years of experience in pavement design for infrastructure projects such as roads, airports, ports, and industrial floors.

Position Requirements:

- Experience in the design of new pavement structures and rehabilitation of existing pavements.
- Basic geotechnical engineering design knowledge.
- Understanding of pavement construction materials and specifications, including aggregates, asphalt mixes, polymer-modified materials, and concrete mixes.

Key Responsibilities

Pavement Design

- Design flexible, rigid, interlocking concrete block, natural stone sett, and slab pavements in accordance with international standards such as AASHTO, Austroads, USACE, and relevant local design codes.
- Carry out mechanistic-empirical pavement design and finite element modelling.

Pavement Assessment & Rehabilitation





- Prepare scopes of work and tender documents for pavement investigation and testing programmes.
- Evaluate structural and functional pavement conditions and develop rehabilitation strategies for existing infrastructure.

BIM & Design Documentation

- Develop BIM models and design deliverables using Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Prepare pavement design drawings, including layouts, cross-sections, jointing details, and connection details.
- Develop specifications, method of measurement documents, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Reporting & Technical Coordination

- Prepare pavement design reports, assessment reports, evaluation reports, and technical presentations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical support on pavement-related projects.

Specialized Infrastructure Projects

- Undertake airfield pavement design in accordance with FAA, ICAO, and UK MOD requirements.
- Undertake port pavement design in accordance with British Ports Association, PIANC, and other relevant international standards.

Stakeholder Management

- Participate in technical meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Support value engineering exercises and resolve design, construction, and technical issues.
- Respond to client and contractor comments and technical queries.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of pavement engineering principles and international design standards.
- Experience with pavement analysis and rehabilitation methodologies.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Strong technical report writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
