Global Talent Network by Nadia is recruiting on behalf of the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) for its South Asia Project Team – International Security & Defence Cooperation.

We welcome applications from experienced professionals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- Northeast India and Arunachal Pradesh
- India–China relations and border security
- International security, defense, and strategic affairs
- Geopolitical and political risk analysis
- Regional governance, ethnic conflicts, and border development
- Policy research, security journalism, or regional consulting

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct independent research and regional analysis
- Prepare evidence-based English research reports of 800–1,500 words
- Provide research insights on regional security and strategic affairs

Requirements Applicants should have relevant skilled experience in research, policy, journalism, defense,



security, or consulting. Strong analytical skills and excellent English writing ability are essential. Regional expertise and professional networks are an advantage.

Current students are not eligible.

Compensation

USD 1,000–3,000 per month, plus a performance-based bonus, subject to experience and engagement structure. A trial period may apply.
