Job highlights
- 0–3 years B2B sales experience with healthcare or pharma exposure, technical fluency in hospital and pharma infrastructure, strong stakeholder mapping skills
- Build and manage pipeline across healthcare and pharma sectors, conduct high-volume outreach, qualify opportunities, maintain CRM, and represent company at industry events
The Outbound Sales Manager Healthcare & Pharma opens Sambhavs pipeline in one of India’s most infrastructure-critical sectors. In a hospital or a pharma plant, a failed join is not an inconvenience. It is a dark ICU during a power switchover, a hospital information system that can’t talk to the network, a cold room that loses temperature, or a batch record that fails an audit.
You will find the hospitals, diagnostic chains, pharma manufacturers and public health bodies where these joins are breaking. You will reach the people who carry that risk and turn first conversations into qualified, multi-scope opportunities. You will create demand for a category most healthcare buyers don’t yet know exists.
Key responsibilities
Prospecting strategy
- Build target account lists across private hospital chains, standalone and multi-specialty hospitals, diagnostic and pathology networks, medical colleges, pharma and API manufacturers, CDMOs, pharma warehousing and cold-chain operators, and public health institutions, mapped to Sambhav’s five demand routes.
- Identify the decision makers and influencers who feel the cost of failing joins: hospital CIOs and Heads of IT, Medical Superintendents, Heads of Biomedical Engineering, Facilities and Projects Heads, Plant Heads, Heads of Engineering and QA, and Procurement.
- Track new hospital builds, capacity expansions, plant commissioning and government health tenders (GeM,
state medical services corporations, NHM and ABDM-linked programmes) to spot opportunities early.
- Define outreach sequences for each segment: cold calls, email, LinkedIn, healthcare and pharma industry events, and in-person visits.
- Set and track pipeline metrics (contacts reached, meetings booked, opportunities qualified) and review them weekly with leadership.
Outreach and qualification
- Run high-volume, high-quality outreach every week, most of it in person across Delhi/NCR.
- Open with the buyer’s problem, not Sambhav’s catalogue. Diagnose where their vendors hand off and where it breaks, whether that is power backup for critical care, network and HIS integration, security and access control, or plant and cold-chain systems.
- Speak the buyer’s language on uptime, patient safety, NABH and accreditation readiness, GMP and data-integrity compliance, and audit risk.
- Qualify opportunities on budget, authority, need and timeline, and hand over only deals worth pursuing.
- Book and lead first meetings with senior decision makers, bringing in scope champions when the conversation turns technical.
Pipeline and handover
- Keep the CRM accurate and current, with every account, contact, touch and next step logged.
- Work with the Customer Success Manager so qualified buyers move into onboarding without losing context.
- Feed what you hear from healthcare and pharma buyers back into positioning, scope definition and route strategy.
- Represent Sambhav at healthcare and pharma industry events, tenders and partner forums to generate recent conversations.
What we’re looking for
- 0–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or inside sales. Freshers from strong academic backgrounds are welcome.
- Exposure to healthcare, pharma, medical devices, hospital IT or healthcare infrastructure is a strong plus, through internships, prior roles or academic background (life sciences, pharmacy, biomedical engineering, healthcare management or MBA).
- Comfort reaching out cold to senior stakeholders and handling rejection with resilience.
- Curiosity to learn how hospitals and pharma plants run, and the technical fluency to discuss hardware, software, power and workforce deployments at a working level.
- Ability to map a complex stakeholder landscape (clinical, technical, administrative and procurement) into a clear engagement plan.
- An ownership mindset and willingness to travel extensively across NCR.
- Bold, confident, presentable and career-driven.
- Clear, persuasive communication in English and Hindi.
- We actively encourage women to apply.
Why join
- Be part of the founding team and the company’s 0-to-1 growth.
- Interact directly with hospital promoters, pharma business heads, founders of 20+ companies, and central and state government officials.
- Build Sambhav’s healthcare and pharma vertical from the ground up.
- Help define how a new category engages its customers and partners.
- Work across six technology domains and five demand routes.
- Own relationships end to end in a lean, Make-in-India team.
