Job Title: OT Technician

Job Summary

The OT Technician is responsible for assisting surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals during surgical procedures and ensuring that the operation theatre is properly prepared, equipped, sterilized, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the operation theatre before and after surgical procedures.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of surgical instruments, equipment, and medical supplies.
- Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment as per hospital protocols.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures as required.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control standards in the OT.
- Check and maintain OT equipment, including suction machines, cautery machines, lights, and monitors.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Maintain records of surgical instruments, consumables, and OT stock.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for smooth OT operations.
- Follow hospital policies, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols.




- Ensure proper shifting and positioning assistance for patients under the supervision of clinical staff.
- Report any equipment malfunction, shortage of supplies, or safety concerns to the concerned supervisor.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or relevant certification in OT Technology.
- Relevant experience in an Operation Theatre is preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization procedures.
- Understanding of infection control and biomedical waste management.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
