1. Operate pouch-making machines as per production requirements.

2. Understand pouch drawings, dimensions, job cards and customer specifications.

3. Set machine parameters for pouch width, length, sealing temperature, pressure and dwell time.

4. Set up and operate zipper attachment systems.

5. Set up and operate spout insertion and sealing systems.

6. Ensure correct positioning of zippers, spouts, gussets and seals.

7. Maintain consistent sealing strength and pouch dimensions.

8. Monitor cutting accuracy, registration and pouch appearance.

9. Identify defects such as seal leakage, wrinkles, poor sealing, misalignment, cutting variation and zipper defects.

10. Conduct routine quality checks for dimensions, seal strength and leakage.

11. Minimise rejection and material wastage.

12. Maintain production records, rejection reports and downtime records.

13. Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams.

14. Ensure machine safety and housekeeping.
