Operation Theatre Technician (Fresher)

Position: Operation Theatre Technician

Department: Operation Theatre – Gynaecology & Laparoscopy

Experience: Fresher/ Experience

Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist surgeons and gynecologists during laparoscopic (LAP) surgical procedures.
- Assist in hysteroscopy and other gynecological surgical procedures.
- Prepare and arrange OT instruments, equipment, and surgical consumables before procedures.
- Assist the surgical team with instrument handling and passing during operations.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and follow infection control protocols.
- Assist in preparing laparoscopic instruments, camera systems, monitors, and other OT equipment.
- Support patient positioning and OT preparation under the supervision of senior staff.
- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments.




- Check the availability and functionality of OT equipment before every procedure.
- Maintain OT cleanliness, safety standards, and proper documentation.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other OT staff.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Operation Theatre procedures.
- Interest in laparoscopic and gynecological surgical procedures.
- Familiarity with LAP instruments, hysteroscopy equipment, and surgical accessories is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Willingness to learn and assist in different surgical specialties.

- Laparoscopic procedures.
- Diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy.
- Gynecological surgeries.
- Other minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
