1. Role Overview

We are seeking a senior practitioner-trainer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking for Data and WLAN, operations, automation , introduction to NRE concepts and capability development. The candidate must be able to design and deliver advanced, practical training for L2 +/ L3 engineers, network specialists, automation engineers, and operations across HPE Aruba, Juniper, and Cisco environments.

Role objective: Build engineers who can independently configure, troubleshoot, automate, operate, and continuously improve up-to-date enterprise networks.

2. Key Responsibilities

Technical Training and Capability Development

• Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on learning for experienced network professionals.

• Create foundational, intermediate, and advanced learning paths aligned to L2+ / L3, automation.

• Use practical labs, real incidents, troubleshooting exercises, automation use cases, and operational simulations.

• Develop courseware, lab guides, assessments, case studies, skill matrices, and targeted improvement plans.

• Continuously refresh content using technology changes, incident trends, learner feedback, and business needs.

Technology Coverage

• HPE Aruba: Aruba CX switching, Aruba Central, VLANs, Layer 2/3, routing, VSX, resiliency, assurance, APIs, templates, configuration compliance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Juniper: EX/QFX, Junos OS, switching, OSPF/BGP, resiliency, configuration management, troubleshooting, NETCONF, REST APIs, Junos PyEZ, Ansible, and drift/compliance validation.

• Cisco: Catalyst, IOS XE, VLANs, STP/RSTP, EtherChannel, Layer 3 switching, OSPF/BGP, high availability, Catalyst Center, assurance,



telemetry, APIs, NETCONF/RESTCONF, YANG, Python, and Ansible.

Network Automation and Programmability

• Train engineers on standardization, repeatability, idempotency, version control, testing, rollback, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Deliver hands-on learning on Python, Ansible, Jinja2, YAML, Git, REST APIs, NETCONF, RESTCONF, YANG, and CI/CD concepts.

• Build use cases for deployment, backup, inventory, health checks, compliance, drift detection, and pre/post-change validation.

• Promote secure, scalable, maintainable, auditable, and production-ready automation practices.

3. Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, switching, routing, VLANs, STP, link aggregation, redundancy, and high availability.

• Advanced hands-on knowledge of HPE Aruba, Juniper, and Cisco enterprise networking technologies.

• Practical experience with Aruba CX/Central, Juniper EX/QFX/Junos, and Cisco Catalyst/IOS XE/Catalyst Center.

• Strong knowledge of OSPF and BGP, with EIGRP knowledge where applicable.

• Troubleshooting expertise using CLI, logs, telemetry, packet analysis, APIs, and structured fault isolation.

• Automation capability using Python, Ansible, Jinja2, YAML, Git, REST APIs, NETCONF/RESTCONF, and YANG.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automated testing, compliance, drift management, observability, incident management, RCA, and toil reduction.

• Ability to create and deliver technical training, practical labs, assessments, troubleshooting scenarios,



and mentoring programmes.

4. Experience and Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise networking, engineering/operations, automation, NRE, architecture.

• Proven hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, automation, and operational experience.

• Demonstrated experience training L2/L3 engineers and experienced technical professionals.

• Experience across HPE Aruba, Juniper, and Cisco environments, including physical/virtual labs, simulators, automation sandboxes, and management platforms.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, technical mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

5. Certifications

Mandatory - valid and verifiable

• HPE Aruba Networking: current professional-level Aruba switching/networking certification or equivalent.

• Juniper Networks: JNCIP-ENT or equivalent/higher certification.

• Cisco: CCNP Enterprise or equivalent/higher certification.

Relevant expert-level certifications may substitute for the corresponding professional-level credential.

Preferred

• Cisco DevNet Professional; Juniper Automation/DevOps; Aruba Automation/Design; Red Hat Ansible; HashiCorp Terraform Associate; ITIL 4; or relevant SRE, DevOps, and cloud networking certifications.

Mandatory : Bachelors degree

6. Training Competencies and Success Measures

• Convert complex networking concepts into structured, practical learning modules and live demonstrations.

• Adapt content for different competency levels, technical roles, distributed teams, and multiple learning cohorts.

• Measure impact through pre/post assessments, lab performance, role readiness, learner feedback, and on-the-job application.

• Drive automation adoption, reduced manual toil, fewer repeat incidents/escalations, stronger troubleshooting, and improved reliability.
