The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our current network configuration and infrastructure. You will design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance. You will also provide troubleshooting and configuration support by using your strong technical skills in Linux and Windows environments and IP networking.

Responsibilities

- Maintain, implement, and troubleshoot networks
- Design and support our network systems and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve L2 network issues related to switching, VLANs, trunking, STP, and port connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve interface/down alerts and connectivity issues.
- Support DC, DR, and branch network infrastructure.
- Escalate complex issues to the Network L3 team when required.
- Provide incident, problem, and change management support as per ITIL processes.





Technical Skills Required:

- Robust knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, STP, Port Channels, and Routing fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent network devices.
- Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP concepts.
- Experience in troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
- Understanding of Firewall, VPN, NAT, and Wireless technologies.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of data center networking.

Qualifications

- 3-6 years of experience in Network Operations or Infrastructure Support.
- Experience in enterprise data center and branch network environments preferred.
