Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance Application Specialist / Functional Consultant Company: A leading MNC (name shared at interview stage)

About the role

As a Functional Consultant in the implementation team, you will own D365 Finance change requests end to end, from requirement gathering through solution design, testing and user training.

Key responsibilities

- Analyse issues and requests received in the implementation group
- Test functionalities, customizations and automation before they are released to end users
- Gather complete business requirements and justification for every change request
- Recommend solutions for change requests (customizations) that are raised
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), support development, and get them approved
- Suggest improvements to existing business processes
- Train super users

Must-have skills





- Excellent understanding of end-to-end business processes:
- Request to Order
- Procure to Pay (Direct Debit and Customer Reimbursement)
- Order to Cash
- Fixed Assets
- Record to Report
- Treasury Automation Suite

- Excellent understanding of General Accounting
- Excellent understanding of D365 Finance modules, for configuration and transaction processing:

- General Ledger and Account Structure
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Inventory Accounting
- Project Accounting

- Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Strong knowledge of integration areas
- Good understanding of Excel and formulas for data analysis
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written)

Nice-to-have skills

- Experience with ISV solutions, preferably ExFlow and SKG
- Understanding of security configurations
- Good knowledge of Management Reporter
