Compensation: Up to ₹1,00,000 per month (CTC, negotiable based on experience) + Performance-based incentives

About AGS IrrigationAGS Irrigation is a leading manufacturer and supplier of ISI-certified drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, PVC/HDPE pipes, and agricultural water management solutions across Tamil Nadu. We actively work on government-subsidized micro-irrigation schemes (such as PMKSY / TANHOPE / Department of Agriculture & Horticulture) to empower farmers and optimize water usage across the state.

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven State Sales Manager to lead our sales, dealer-distributor expansion, government subsidy scheme execution, and revenue collection operations in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the micro-irrigation industry, deep knowledge of Tamil Nadu government agricultural schemes, and a proven track record of meeting ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Government Micro-Irrigation Schemes:
- Drive end-to-end execution of micro-irrigation subsidy schemes (PMKSY, TANHODA, State Agricultural/Horticultural Department schemes) across Tamil Nadu.
- Coordinate with Agriculture/Horticulture Department officers, AAO/ADA officials, and local authorities to secure approvals, farmer documentation, and scheme sanction orders.
- Distributor & • Dealer Network Management:

- Identify, onboard, and build robust relationships with agricultural distributors, dealers, and local retail networks across key districts in Tamil Nadu.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with dealers regarding inventory management, order pipeline, field technical support, and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Target & • Revenue Generation:

- Take full ownership of achieving assigned monthly, quarterly,



and annual sales targets for the state of Tamil Nadu.
- Drive direct, dealer, and project sales for Drip, Sprinkler, Lateral Tapes, HDPE/PVC Pipes, and Irrigation Accessories.
- Collection & • Outstanding Management:

- Ensure timely collection of payments, receivables, and outstanding balances from distributors, dealers, and government scheme disbursements.
- Maintain strict adherence to credit limits and financial discipline across the sales network.
- Team & • Field Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and track the field sales team, sales executive personnel, and technical service staff across Tamil Nadu districts.
- Conduct regular field visits, farmer meets, and dealer conventions to strengthen the AGS Irrigation brand footprint.

Requirements & • Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agri), Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration (MBA/BBA), or equivalent field.
- Experience: Minimum 6–10+ years of proven sales & channel management experience specifically in the Micro-Irrigation / Drip Irrigation / Agri-Inputs / HDPE Pipe industry in Tamil Nadu.
- Scheme Expertise: Hands-on experience working with government micro-irrigation subsidy portals, procedures, and horticulture department documentation.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Tamil (essential for local field operations) and English.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across all districts of Tamil Nadu.

- Solid leadership, negotiation, and distributor relationship management skills.
- Proven track record of consistent revenue generation and payment collection.
- Excellent understanding of crop water requirements, soil types, and local Tamil Nadu farming practices.
