MEP ENGINEER - EXECUTION (High Rise & Super structure Buildings)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer (Execution) to lead and oversee the site execution of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works for high-rise and superstructure building projects in Patiala. The ideal candidate has a robust civil construction background and has delivered MEP services on large building projects from start to handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise and execute MEP works (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, drainage and allied services) at site.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural and structural teams so MEP works are integrated with the superstructure (sleeves, openings, shafts, embedded conduits and inserts).
- Review and implement MEP drawings, shop drawings and coordination drawings, and resolve site-level clashes.
- Manage contractors, subcontractors and site teams to meet quality, safety and schedule targets.
- Prepare and monitor work schedules, manpower and material requirements, and ensure timely material approvals and deliveries.
- Verify quantities, certify contractor bills and maintain site measurement records.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant IS/NBC codes, and statutory and safety norms.
- Conduct inspections, testing, readings and commissioning of MEP systems and handle snag closure before handover.




- Prepare progress reports (DPR/WPR/MPR) and update project management on status, risks and cost control.
- Enforce site safety (HSE) practices and quality control procedures.

Required Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma with extensive relevant experience may be considered).
- 10+ years of experience in Construction & Engineering (civil line).
- Proven hands-on experience in execution of MEP works in high-rise buildings and superstructure projects.
- Experience in building projects (residential, commercial, institutional or township) is strongly preferred; candidates from other sectors may not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, specifications, BOQs and site execution practices.
- Good understanding of civil–MEP coordination at the construction stage.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project/Primavera, ERP Systems
- Strong leadership, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
