Role Summary

We are hiring an MEP Design Engineer to design and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for mission-critical data center projects, from concept through IFC drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Design MEP systems for data centers from concept to detailed design and IFC stage.

- Electrical:

HV/MV/LV distribution, transformers, DG sets, UPS, PDUs, earthing and lightning protection, load calculations, and short-circuit and coordination studies.

- Mechanical (HVAC):

Precision cooling (CRAC/CRAH, chilled water, in-row, liquid cooling), load calculations, chillers, cooling towers, piping, and containment design.

- Plumbing and fire:

Water supply, drainage, fire detection and suppression (VESDA, clean agent, sprinklers), and leak detection.

- Prepare design basis reports, calculations, BOQs, specifications, and drawings.

- Design for Tier III/IV (Uptime Institute) or TIA-942 redundancy requirements.

- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and BMS/ELV teams, including BIM clash detection.

- Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.

- Provide design support to site teams during construction and commissioning.

- Contribute to value engineering and PUE optimization.
