1. Direct and manage all clinical departments, ICU, OT, and emergency care services for seamless operations.
2. Manage medical staff scheduling, consultant assignments, clinical workflows, and overall qualified discipline.
3. Handle all medico-legal cases (MLCs) and ensure strict institutional compliance with state and central healthcare laws.
4. Coordinate closely with the Hospital Administrator to balance clinical infrastructure needs with the facility's budget.
5. Address and resolve patient clinical grievances, maintaining high medical ethics and patient satisfaction.
6. Core Responsibilities for Quality & NABH Assurance:
7. Take full ownership of Quality Assurance (QA) policies, clinical audits, and hospital indicator tracking.
8. Partner with the Nursing Superintendent to aggressively enforce strict infection control and hospital-acquired infection (HAI) monitoring.
9. Develop, update, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) required to maintain institutional audit readiness.
10. Manage inter-departmental training programs to keep medical and nursing teams aligned with safety standards.
