Roles & Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and engineering notes.
- Support design activities for sheet metal, machined, fabricated, and plastic components.
- Assist in developing new concepts and improving existing product designs.
- Perform basic assembly, interference, clearance, and fitment checks.
- Support Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation and engineering documentation.
- Incorporate design changes and drawing modifications based on engineering inputs.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation activities.
- Assist engineers in DFM/DFA and Value Engineering activities.
- Maintain design files and engineering documents according to project procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and implement feedback provided by senior engineers.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and other engineering teams when required.

Required Technical Skills

- Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Understanding of Engineering Drawing and GD&T; fundamentals.
- Knowledge of any 3D CAD software such as:
- SolidWorks




- Basic understanding of:
- Sheet Metal Design
- Machining
- Welding and Fabrication
- Plastic Components
- Manufacturing Processes
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of tolerances, fits, and material selection.

Preferred Skills

- Good problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Interest in Product Design and New Product Development (NPD).
- Basic knowledge of DFM, DFA and GD&T.;
- Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and engineering documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new CAD tools and engineering processes.

Educational Qualification B.E / B. Tech in:

- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
