A leading engineering and energy solutions company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to prepare and release accurate manufacturing drawings for mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

- Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman
- Location: Pune
- Experience: 10+ Years
- Department: Mechanical Engineering (OEM)
- Prepare 2D/3D layouts, assembly drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
- Verify drawings and BOMs against design inputs and applicable engineering standards.
- Update and revise drawings based on design, process and customer requirements.
- Release drawings and documents through ERP within project timelines.
- Maintain drawing revision control and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturing shops and site teams to resolve technical queries.
- Support site visits whenever required.





Qualifications

- Qualification: ITI / NCTVT / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or CAD Design

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, geometry, weight and area calculations.
- Positive command of AutoCAD 2D; 3D drafting knowledge will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of AutoLISP.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, welding symbols, tolerances, units and P&IDs.;
- Experience in boiler or heater drafting will be preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
