Position: Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $80-$185/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Part-time, versatile, task-based

No prior AI experience required.

Role Responsibilities

- Design difficult technical problems in areas such as process design, production systems, quality engineering, automation, supply chain and operations modeling, with realistic constraints and supporting data.
- Provide the correct solution and walk through the reasoning.
- Define objective criteria so another expert would reach the same verdict.
- Review problems from other contributors for accuracy and soundness of method.

Requirements
- Master's or PhD in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
- Principal, staff or fellow-level experience at a major manufacturing organization, or a faculty appointment at a leading university.
- Deep technical depth in at least one subdomain, with hands-on ownership of the work.
- Able to explain why an answer is correct clearly enough that another engineer could verify it.
