1. Membrane Technology & Performance

- technical evaluation of RO / membranes (polymeric, tubular, hollow fiber, flat sheet).
- Define and optimize operating parameters: flux, TMP, recovery, crossflow velocity, salt rejection, permeability.
- Assess membrane performance under real feed water conditions (high TSS, COD, color, salinity, organics).
- Support troubleshooting of fouling, scaling, biofouling, and chemical degradation.

2. R&D; and Innovation

- Design and execute bench-scale, pilot-scale, and full-scale trials for new membrane products and configurations.
- Develop and validate current membrane materials, coatings, or module configurations (as applicable).
- Analyze test data using scientific and statistical tools to guide design decisions.
- Collaborate on next-generation membrane development, inspired by industry leaders like DuPont.

3. Process Design & Scale-Up

- Support process design and integration of UF-RO systems in STP, ETP, ZLD, and reuse projects.
- Provide inputs for P&IDs;, process calculations, mass balance, and membrane sizing.
- Translate lab and pilot results into commercial-scale system designs.




- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning teams.

4. Cleaning, Chemical & Lifecycle Management

- Develop CIP protocols, cleaning frequencies, and chemical compatibility guidelines.
- Evaluate membrane life, replacement cycles, and long-term performance trends.
- Support root cause analysis of membrane failures and performance decline.

1. Cross-Functional & External Collaboration

- Interface with membrane suppliers, chemical vendors, and technology partners.
- Provide technical support to sales, proposals, and customer-facing teams.
- Prepare technical reports, white papers, SOPs, and validation documents.
- Represent the organization in technical reviews, audits, and client discussions.
