We are looking for an experienced Manager/Senior Manager – Indirect Taxation (CA Qualified) to oversee indirect tax compliance, planning, audits, and litigation activities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST, customs regulations, and other indirect tax laws, along with the ability to manage tax risks and ensure regulatory compliance across business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end indirect tax compliance, including GST returns, reconciliations, assessments, and statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GST laws, customs regulations, and other indirect tax requirements.
- Handle tax audits, departmental assessments, notices, litigation, and representation before tax authorities.
- Develop and implement indirect tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and minimize exposure.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on business operations.
- Provide expert guidance on GST, customs duties, input tax credit (ITC), and other indirect tax matters.
- Work closely with finance, accounts, legal, and business teams to resolve tax-related issues.
- Identify potential tax risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Manage indirect tax reporting and documentation using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in indirect taxation, preferably in a large corporate or consulting environment.




- Strong knowledge of GST laws, customs regulations, and other indirect taxes.
- Hands-on experience in tax audits, litigation, assessments, and tax planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and tax compliance tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Profile

- Experience managing indirect taxation for large or multi-location organizations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory updates and tax compliance frameworks.
- Ability to independently manage tax matters and advise senior management.
