Position: Projects Detailing and Execution Manager Mechanical

Reports to : Project Head

Job Location : Ankleshwar, Gujarat

Education : Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering

Experience : 12-15 years of experience with Detailing Engineering,

Estimation

- Hands-on experience in handling large-scale infrastructure and industrial facilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in the field.

Key Competencies Required
- Strong project management and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in industry-relevant tools and software
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., ASME,ACI, ISO, BS)

Detailing & Estimation

- Should have good Knowledge in Review & understanding of mechanical design basis.
- Should have Basic Knowledge of Feasibility study, Concept Study, Preliminary study & Detailing Engg.
- Responsible for Preparation Green & Brown Field Project Estimation.
- Responsible for all technical approvals from various project functions.
- Responsible for co-ordination between all project cross functions, Technical services, Detailed Engineering Consultant and suppliers for expediting evaluation of deliverables.
- Provide Budget estimation for Equipments, Piping etc. as per requirement.
- Responsible for Preparation & Review of equipment Layout and Elevation for Green & Brown Field Project.
- Add value at design stage for cost and time optimization.




- Should able to execute 3D Model review at 30%, 60% & 90%.
- Review key Detailed Engg documents.
- Should be able to prepare Mechanical tender documents based on project scope.
- Should have knowledge of drawings for statutory approvals like GIDC, Factory Inspection, and IBR etc.
- Should be able to Bench-marking estimate with database and analysis of cost ratios.
- Monitor progress and resolve technical challenges on an ongoing basis.
- Responsible for evaluation of deviation in cost and time with respect to any changes in equipment and design against budget.

Equipment & Piping

- Evaluate and review all the technical documents (URS, PDS, MDS, Technical Enquiry and GAD).
- Responsible for ensuring all the equipment’s design conform with required ISO/API Standards.
- Comparing Technical data sheet of equipment as per require PDS.
- Should have knowledge in MDS review & preparation.
- Prepare Technical Questionnaire for Static & rotary type Equipment.
- Should have handful experience in Equipment & piping Layout study with elevation drawing.
- Should have experience in different type of equipment's troubleshooting activity.
- Packaged Equipment consideration in 3D model & define Battery limit.
- Check & review Vendor Fabrication drawing and provide necessary approval.
- Should have good knowledge in Piping design basis and lay outing.




- Should be able to finalize nozzle orientation drawings for fabricated equipment.
- Piping GAD, layout & Isometric for process plant, utilities & pipe rack area.
- Review and approve VMS and PMS during initial stages of project.
- Able to finalize insulation and painting BOQ based on available details.
- Prepare specifications for inline piping special items like hoses, strainer, Bellow, valves etc.
- Should have knowledge to evaluate Piping MTO & BOQ for both green & Brown Field Projects
- Able to generate Isometrics sketch based on P & ID / GA drawing.
- Should be able to prepare Line wise MTO with INCH MTR & INCH DIA.
- Should have good Knowledge in different type of piping supports.

Quality & Documentation

- Should have positive knowledge of different type of equipment Quality Assurance Plan.
- Should have good knowledge in vendor evolution, FAT & SAT.
- Should have good knowledge of WPS, PQR and WPQ.
- Equipment qualification document ( PQ, DQ, IQ,OQ)
- Tender document preparation
