Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager CSR Business Development to lead CSR fundraising initiatives for our skill development and job-linked training projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in CSR fundraising, strong corporate relationships, excellent proposal development and negotiation skills, and the ability to secure and manage CSR funding while ensuring alignment with project delivery and measurable social impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive CSR fundraising initiatives for skill development and job-linked training projects.
- Identify and engage potential CSR companies, corporate foundations, PSUs, and institutional donors.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of CSR funding opportunities.
- Prepare compelling CSR proposals, project designs, budgets, and funding presentations.
- Negotiate project budgets, funding terms, milestones, and payment schedules with CSR partners.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with CSR heads, corporate decision-makers, and foundation leaders.
- Coordinate with ICA's education and delivery teams to ensure effective project implementation.
- Monitor project outcomes, beneficiary training,



and placement commitments.
- Ensure timely submission of utilisation certificates, impact reports, and donor communications.
- Drive donor retention, renewals, and long-term CSR partnerships.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or business development.
- Preferably 10 years of experience, with substantial exposure to the skilling sector.
- Proven track record of raising at least 5 crore in CSR funds in each of 3 consecutive years.
- Experience in handling CSR budgets and negotiations directly with corporate donors.
- Experience in fundraising across multiple geographical zones in India.
- Strong understanding of CSR regulations, Section 135 of the Companies Act, and Schedule VII.
- Knowledge of NSDC, Skill India, and training-to-placement models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Existing relationships with CSR heads of large corporates and PSUs.
- Experience with NSDC-affiliated or training-to-placement projects.
- Postgraduate qualification in Management, Social Work, or Development Studies.
- Based in Kolkata or willing to relocate.
