Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with relevant experience in Lithium-ion Energy Storage Systems (ESS/BESS). The candidate will be responsible for developing 2D and 3D mechanical designs, preparing engineering drawings, and supporting the design and mechanical integration of battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D designs, layouts, and engineering drawings for Lithium-ion ESS/BESS systems.
- Create and modify mechanical designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Work on battery system design, mechanical integration, and packaging of ESS/BESS components.
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles while preparing engineering drawings.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and design specifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, production, manufacturing, and project engineering teams.




- Review designs for manufacturability, assembly feasibility, space optimization, and cost effectiveness.
- Support prototype development, design validation, testing, and engineering modifications.
- Ensure timely completion of design deliverables as per project schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D design/drawing.
- Relevant hands-on experience in Lithium-ion ESS/BESS systems.
- Good understanding of battery system design and mechanical integration.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawing standards.
- Ability to prepare and interpret detailed technical drawings and documentation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, sheet metal design, and assembly practices.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

- 3+ yrs of experience in the power solutions, battery manufacturing, energy storage, or electrical equipment industry.

Exposure to battery enclosures, racks, cabinets, containerized BESS, and mechanical packaging. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
