Role Description The Link Building Outreach Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in India. This role involves researching and identifying relevant websites and publishers, evaluating link opportunities, and building prospect lists using SEO tools and online research.
The specialist will craft personalized outreach messages, manage email campaigns, and maintain transparent communication with webmasters, bloggers, and partners to secure high-quality backlinks. Daily responsibilities include tracking outreach performance, updating link acquisition records, coordinating with content and SEO teams on anchor text and landing pages, and ensuring that all link-building activities follow ethical, white-hat SEO practices.
The role also includes monitoring competitor backlink profiles and contributing ideas to improve overall link-building strategies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with link-building outreach, including prospect research, email outreach, and relationship building.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, search engine ranking factors, and the role of backlinks in organic search performance.
- Ability to use SEO and outreach tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Hunter.io, email marketing tools, spreadsheets or CRM systems) to manage campaigns.
- Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and personalized outreach messages.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing multiple campaigns, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Comfort working with data and metrics to assess outreach effectiveness and optimize strategies.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with content, SEO, and marketing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in digital marketing, influencer outreach, PR, or agency environments is a plus.
- Awareness of ethical, non-spammy link-building practices and adherence to search engine guidelines.
