What makes the role meaty?

- Managing end-to-end pan-India legal, statutory and regulatory compliance across Delivery Centres, Processing Centres, Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs), Offline Stores and other business establishments.
- Handling the acquisition, renewal, amendment and maintenance of statutory licences, including FSSAI, Shops & Establishments, Trade Licence, Factory Licence, Fire NOC, Legal Metrology and other applicable registrations.
- Overseeing labour and industrial law compliance across operational locations, coordinating with HR, Operations and external consultants for statutory filings, inspections, notices and compliance requirements.
- Managing end-to-end legal support for business expansion and real estate projects, including property due diligence, title verification, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and execution of Lease Deeds and Leave & Licence Agreements.
- Liaising with government authorities,



regulatory departments and municipal bodies for statutory approvals, licensing, inspections, regulatory clarifications and resolution of compliance issues.
- Developing and maintain a centralised compliance management system, including licence repositories, renewal trackers, SOPs, periodic audits and management reporting.
- Managing external legal and compliance consultants, negotiate professional fees, monitor deliverables and identify opportunities to optimise compliance expenditure through in-house processes.
- Leading and supervise the Legal & Compliance team, establish review mechanisms and turnaround timelines, and provide legal advisory to HR, Finance, Operations, Procurement and Senior Management.

- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 7–10 years of experience in Legal, Regulatory and Compliance functions.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, industrial laws and statutory licensing requirements.
- Experience in FSSAI regulations and food safety compliance.
- Hands-on experience in real estate due diligence, lease documentation and business expansion.
- Robust contract drafting, reviewing, negotiation and litigation management skills.
- Experience managing multi-location compliance operations and external consultants.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and team leadership skills.
