About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Firmware Engineer to lead embedded firmware development for advanced industrial automation and drive-control solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Embedded C, RTOS, embedded hardware, firmware architecture and technical leadership, preferably with experience in industrial drives, servo inverters, VFDs or motion-control systems.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of 4–6 embedded firmware engineers.
- Drive firmware architecture, design, development and implementation.
- Remain hands-on with Embedded C programming and debugging.
- Conduct code reviews, design reviews and technical discussions.
- Work closely with hardware, electronics and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Drive firmware development for industrial drives, servo inverters and motion-control applications.
- Participate in hardware-software integration and system-level debugging.
- Ensure firmware quality, reliability and compliance with engineering standards.

Required technical skills

- 12+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.




- Robust programming skills in Embedded C.
- Experience with RTOS and/or bare-metal programming.
- Strong understanding of MCU/SoC architecture and embedded systems.
- Experience with bootloader development and firmware update mechanisms.
- Knowledge of embedded hardware, PCB design and schematic reviews.
- Experience with power electronics, motor control, VFDs or servo drives.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as JTAG/SWD and laboratory equipment.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as CAN, EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or IO-Link.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI debugging is preferred.

Preferred industry experience Industrial automation, electrical equipment, power electronics, motor drives, servo systems and embedded product development.

- Location: Pune
- Work arrangement: Hybrid
- Notice period: Immediate to 60 days preferred
- Candidates should be willing to work from the Pune office four days per week.
