We are hiring for an Operations role with a leading global automobile firm. The role involves managing order forecasting and delivery operations with a strong focus on reducing back orders and ensuring smooth end-to-end operational execution across global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Manage order forecasting and delivery planning for automobile products across regions.
- Monitor and actively work on reducing back orders through effective coordination and execution.
- Generate reports as required and perform daily, weekly, and monthly operational activities.
- Work closely with supply chain, planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Use SAP Material Management (MM) and SAP SPP modules for day-to-day operational tracking and reporting.
- Analyze operational data using Excel, SQL, and basic Python to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Support reporting automation and data validation activities using Excel and Python wherever applicable.
- Ensure smooth operational delivery in a fast-paced, real-world workplace.
Qualifications
B.Tech or equivalent educational qualification.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in operations, supply chain, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Material Management (MM) navigation and SAP SPP Module.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
- Basic working knowledge of Python for data analysis, reporting, or automation tasks.
- Street-smart and execution-focused approach to operational delivery.
- Good understanding of operational processes and problem-solving in real-world scenarios. Good to Have • Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Exposure to forecasting, supply chain planning, inventory management, or aftermarket operations.
- Experience in automating reports or repetitive operational tasks using Python. Work Conditions • Willingness to work in night shifts is mandatory, as this is a global operations role.
