—Laproscopic Technician

Qualifications—Diploma/B.Sc.

Department- General OT

Experience: 10+ years of hands-on hospital practice.

1. Assist surgeons during advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries.
2. Prepare and check laparoscopic equipment, instruments, camera, light source, insufflator, energy devices and other OT equipment.
3. ⁠Ensure proper availability, sterilization and functioning of laparoscopic instruments before surgery.
4. ⁠Assist in setting up the OT and positioning equipment as per the surgical procedure.
5. ⁠Handle laparoscopic instruments and equipment efficiently during surgery.
6. ⁠Troubleshoot basic technical issues with laparoscopic equipment during procedures.
7. ⁠Maintain proper inventory of laparoscopic instruments, consumables and equipment.
8.



Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, anesthesia team and CSSD for smooth OT functioning.
9. ⁠Follow strict infection-control, sterilization and patient-safety protocols.
10. ⁠Support training and supervision of junior laparoscopic/OT technicians.
