Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Survey Engineering, Geoinformatics, or related discipline.

Purpose:

Will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing all land surveying activities for Data Center development projects. The role involves conducting topographical, boundary, contour, utility, and as-built surveys to support land acquisition, master planning, design development, construction execution, and project handover. The incumbent will ensure survey accuracy, statutory compliance, and timely availability of survey data for project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Land Assessment & Due Diligence

- Conduct boundary, topographical, contour, and cadastral surveys for prospective Data Center sites.
- Verify land coordinates, plot dimensions, ownership boundaries, and access roads.
- Support land acquisition teams during technical due diligence activities.
- Review land records, survey maps, revenue documents, and GIS data.

Survey Planning & Execution

- Develop survey plans, methodologies, and schedules aligned with project timelines.
- Manage site survey activities using Total Station, DGPS, GPS, Drone Survey, LiDAR, and Laser Scanning technologies.
- Establish control points, benchmarks, and survey reference grids.
- Ensure survey accuracy as per project specifications and industry standards.

Design & Engineering Support

- Provide accurate survey data to Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, and Infrastructure design teams.
- Support grading, earthwork calculations, cut-fill analysis, and drainage planning.
- Generate topographic maps, contour plans, utility maps, and digital terrain models.




- Coordinate with consultants and design partners during project planning stages.

Construction Support

- Establish construction layouts and coordinate setting-out activities.
- Verify building positions, road alignments, underground utility corridors, and site levels.
- Conduct periodic surveys to monitor construction progress.
- Execute as-built surveys for completed structures and infrastructure.

GIS, Data Management & Reporting

- Manage survey databases, GIS records, and digital mapping systems.
- Prepare survey reports, drawings, coordinate files, and technical documentation.
- Ensure proper data storage, version control, and document management.
- Generate progress reports and present findings to project stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with design consultants, survey agencies, contractors, and government authorities.
- Support regulatory submissions related to land development and approvals.
- Provide technical guidance to project managers and construction teams.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable survey standards, project specifications, and local regulations.
- Monitor survey quality and accuracy through periodic audits and validation checks.

Promote adherence to EHS and site safety requirements.

Experience

- 7-13 years of experience in land surveying for large infrastructure, industrial, mission-critical facilities, hyperscale campuses, or Data Center projects.
- Experience in greenfield and brownfield developments.
- Exposure to large-scale site development and infrastructure works.

Technical Skills

- Total Station, DGPS, GPS, LiDAR, Drone Surveying.
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS Platforms (ArcGIS/QGIS).
- Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM).
- Earthwork and cut-fill calculations.
- Survey data processing and coordinate systems management.

Knowledge of land records, statutory approvals, and development regulations.
