Role Summary
We are looking for a detailed-oriented Junior Quality Inspector / Engineer with an Electrical background to oversee quality control in our HVAC manufacturing unit. You will be responsible for inspecting electrical components, wiring harnesses, control panels, and testing finished HVAC equipment (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Split/Package ACs) to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Inward Inspection: Inspect incoming electrical raw materials, components (compressors, motors, relays, contactors, PCBs, sensors), and wiring kits against specifications.
In-Process Quality Checks: Monitor assembly line wiring, electrical panel connections, grounding, and control circuit integration. Knowledge of HOT ROLLED SHEET SKIN PASS SHEET WITH GALVANISED,
GI Sheets incoming inspection
Testing & Inspection: Conduct insulation resistance (Megger), high-voltage (Hi-Pot), continuity, and functional testing on finished HVAC units.
Defect Documentation: Log non-conformances (NCs), track rejection rates, and assist senior engineers in root cause analysis (RCA).
Compliance & Calibration: Ensure test equipment and instruments are properly calibrated and follow SOPs and ISO quality standards.
Basic understanding of HVAC systems, control circuits, schematics, and electrical single-line diagrams (SLD).
Familiarity with electrical testing meters (Multimeter, Clamp meter, Insulation tester, Hi-Pot tester).
Knowledge of basic quality tools (5S, 7 QC Tools, Checklists).
Strong attention to detail and good reporting skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
