Position: Liquid Terminal Operations Engineer

Location: Kandla, Gujarat

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound professional to join our Liquid Terminal Operations Team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) of liquid terminals, tank farms, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar process industries. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and uninterrupted terminal operations while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Educational Qualification (Mandatory)

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Liquid Terminal Operations & Maintenance.
- Mandatory experience in Operations & Maintenance Department.
- Experience in Liquid Terminal, Tank Farm, Oil & Gas, Petroleum, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Process Industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor liquid terminal facilities, storage tanks, pipelines, pumps, valves, and loading/unloading systems.
- Coordinate safe receipt, storage, transfer, and dispatch of petroleum, chemicals, or liquid cargo.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day terminal operations while achieving operational efficiency.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance.




- Maintain operational logs, reports, checklists, and shift documentation.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, statutory regulations, and company safety standards.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, EHS, Marine, Surveyors, Customers, and Transporters for seamless operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, tank gauging, and product movements.
- Participate in emergency response activities and safety drills.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimization.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of liquid terminal operations and maintenance.
- Understanding of pumps, pipelines, valves, storage tanks, and utility systems.
- Knowledge of HSE practices, permit-to-work systems, and emergency procedures.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and equipment troubleshooting.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and operational reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Mechanical Engineer (Bachelor's/Diploma) with relevant O&M; experience.
- Experience in liquid terminal or tank farm operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, if required.
- Strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and teamwork.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
