Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Junior Interior Designer based in Gurugram.

The Junior Interior

Designer will support senior designers in developing interior concepts for hotel rooms, common areas, and event spaces across Saltstayz properties. Daily tasks include assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards, sourcing materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E; selections aligned with brand standards. The intern will help in creating and updating construction drawings,



documenting design details, and collaborating with operations and project teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and guest-focused. The role offers hands-on exposure to hospitality design, site visits, and participation in project reviews from concept through implementation.

Qualifications

- Interior design and space planning skills, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
- Basic understanding of architecture and construction drawings for hospitality or residential projects.
- Knowledge of FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, sourcing, and documentation.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic MS Office skills.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, visual sense, and ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in hospitality design and willingness to learn through site-based work and project execution.
