Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Junior Engineer – MEP to support the hospital's engineering and maintenance operations. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and smooth functioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across the hospital premises.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the operation and maintenance of MEP systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing and fire safety systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, pumps, motors, generators, AHUs, chillers and other engineering equipment.
- Monitor the functioning of critical hospital utility systems and ensure uninterrupted services.
- Identify technical issues, troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate corrective maintenance.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule.
- Ensure proper functioning of hospital utilities, including water supply, drainage, ventilation and electrical systems.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment logs,



checklists and service reports.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for equipment servicing and repair works.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, fire safety requirements and hospital engineering protocols.
- Assist in energy conservation initiatives and efficient utilization of engineering resources.
- Respond promptly to engineering complaints and maintenance requests from hospital departments.
- Support statutory inspections, audits and documentation related to engineering and facility management.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical layouts.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of hospital engineering operations will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency maintenance requirements.

Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in MEP operations or facility maintenance.
