1. Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant with at least one year of experience in Tally and basic accounting operations. The candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting daily accounting activities.

2. Maintain daily accounting transactions in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
3. Record sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal entries accurately.
4. Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
5. Verify supplier invoices, bills, and payment details.
6. Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
7. Perform bank reconciliation and verify bank statements with accounting records.
8. Maintain petty cash records and monitor daily cash transactions.
9. Assist in GST data preparation, invoice verification, and filing-related documentation.
10. Maintain proper filing and documentation of bills, vouchers, receipts, and other financial records.
11. Prepare basic accounting reports and Excel statements as required by management.
12. Follow up on pending payments and outstanding customer balances.
13. Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial statements.
14. Coordinate with the HR and administration departments for salary records, employee advances, and related accounting entries, as assigned.
15.



Check the accuracy of accounting entries and report discrepancies to the Accounts Manager or management.
16. Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the reporting manager.

17. Qualifications and Skills

- B.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce/Accounting preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation preferred.
- Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Positive communication skills and willingness to learn.

1. Reporting Structure

The Junior Accountant will report to the Accounts Manager / Finance Manager or any other designated authority.
1. Salary and Employment Conditions

- Monthly Salary: ₹15,000.
- Statutory benefits and deductions, wherever applicable, will be governed by the company's policies and applicable laws.
- Working hours, weekly holidays, leave, probation, and notice-period conditions will be communicated separately in the appointment letter.

1. Performance Expectations

The employee is expected to maintain accurate accounting records, complete assigned tasks within deadlines, ensure proper documentation, and support the smooth functioning of the accounts department.
