Role Description This is a full time, on-site Junior Accountant & Procurement Coordinator role based in Chennai. The role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting month-end processes.

The position also includes assisting in electronic items procurement activities such as preparing purchase orders,



tracking inventory levels, coordinating with vendors for quotations and deliveries, and maintaining procurement records.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including ledger posting, journal entries, and basic financial reporting.
- Ability to handle procurement processes such as vendor coordination, purchase order creation, invoice preparation and inventory tracking.
- Exposure to Zohobooks or similar tools (e.g., Tally or similar), MS Excel, and other office productivity tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.
- Relevant educational background such as B.Com or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or commerce. B.Sc science graduates with exposure to accounts
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, is an advantage.
- Chennai based candidates preferred.
